Lets Fly Washington

This is me behind my .50 cal machine gun near Baghdad.

Welcome!

I am a soldier in the Army and since returning from a tour in Iraq I have decided that it is time to follow some of my dreams. I have always wanted to become a private pilot so as of November 8 2006, I am a student pilot. It didn’t take long to see how expensive flying really is and that is what started my latest quest.

I feel that many people are missing out on the wonderful experience of flying above the crowds and earth bound people.

I hope to remove some of the road blocks that people run in to when it comes to getting their ticket. I want to help educate people on what General Aviation really is and how easy it would be for others to join in. This isn’t a private club that is guarded by people looking to keep you out, its actually more of a family but to join that family you need to find a place to learn to fly and set aside the funds for your training. I hope to help others find the funding and pledge to help keep flying and flight training as inexpensive as I can.  There are many ways to afford your training and keep flying fun for the entire family. Lets Fly Washington will help make your dream happen!
